2016 Kicks Year Review: Jordan’s will dominate 2016 in Sneakers

Brian Wright

April 1, is a big day for sneaker lovers world wide, as Under Armor, Reebok, Adidas and Nike, will release major sneakers that have been in the works. The good people at Sole Collector have all the release dates you need.

Michael Jordan dominance in the sneaker community will continue, for those who don’t know Jordans shoes have always been the fashion standard for athletic shoes and 2016 will be another year of when Jordans shoes make their competition look embarrassing, and no one wants to be embarrassed by the shoes they wear.

Seth Curry’s “Curry 2 Low” will headline things for Under Armor tomorrow, a company that is looking to challenge Nike, as the No.1 choice in in athletic apparel.  $130

Reebok Question Mid “Misunderstood” – should do well tomorrow, $130

The biggest winner will be Adidas, with D Lillard 2- “Fool’s Gold- $105, this is a hell of a shoe, sure to help Lillard grow his fan base.

As for the rest of the year, Michael Jordan’s iconic Jordans will dominate for the rest of the year, my favorites include Air Jordan 17+ Retro “Copper”-$250, due out April 9, Air Jordan Retro x Kobe Bryant Pack “Away”, due June 1st (price not yet available), and finally  Air Jordan 5 Retro Obsidian/White-Metallic Red Bronze-Bright Grape-for $190, due Sept 24.
